It was such a beautiful day today, I decided to head out with my camera and find some signs of Autumn.
I spent quite a bit of time hiking around the Aldo Leopold Nature Center located in Monona (right next to Madison).
I liked the way the above oak tree looked, back lit by the sun, with about half of its leaves gone. It was my favorite scene of the afternoon.
Because of the warm and dry weather we’ve had lately, it was a challenge finding fall colors. A lot of the leaves haven’t turned yet, and it looks like there are quite a few that are going from green to brown (because of the lack of moisture). However, there were a few colorful scenes there waiting to be discovered.
Nice photos. Never been to AL Center. Looks like great site.
Blog photos are my favorite blogs. blessings.
