Another surprise perennial from the front of my house. Does anyone know what it is?
Update: It’s a columbine. Thanks Chris!

The flower is small — about an inch and a half in diameter.

The plant is about a 12 inches tall with clover like leaves.

Hi Jon, This is a columbine plant. It blooms early in the season. From my experience is pretty hardy and the leaves will stay around once the flowers have gone. It’s nice you have some plants coming, up the burst of color is always nice.
