Friday, September 25th, 2009

While I was shooting my stonecrop plant the other day, I wasn’t the only one interested in it. There were also a couple of bees collecting the last nectar of the season.

Back in July, I thought the perennial flowers blooming at my house were done. A couple of weeks ago the stonecrop began to flower.

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

Last week I took some time off to paint my kitchen. Which means… the kitchen remodel is complete! Remember how it looked before?

Jackson Browne, live on Soundstage

Friday, September 4th, 2009

A few weeks ago, I caught Jackson Browne’s recent performance on the PBS show, Soundstage. It was captivating. PBS sells some of the Soundstage performances on DVD so I immediately checked if this show was available — it wasn’t.

The other day I was delighted to see one of the bootleg blogs I read posted a link to the audio: Jackson Browne: live on Soundstage 2009.

One highlight of the show was “Time the Conqueror,” the title track from his latest album, which shows he definitely hasn’t lost his talent for songwriting.
