Roof rake? Check.
Yesterday I had another new home owner’s experience. I bought a roof rake and cleared the snow from the bottom portion of my roof.
With over a foot of heavy, wet snow on my roof I was glad I did that. Driving through town this morning, I saw several houses that already had some ice dams from the snow we got a few days ago.
Okay… ready for the next snow storm!

Jon, that extra insulation you had blown in last month should help a lot in preventing ice dams. The roof rake is still a good idea. Belt and suspenders ya jnow
