Peak colors at Picnic Point

I went hiking along Picnic Point this afternoon.

I don’t think of late October as being a good time for flowers.

8 miles high?

Actually, this is a photo taken from a small bridge over a pond. I suppose there’s still a lot of life to behold, whether you’re eight miles above the Earth, or eight feet above a pond.

Garage painted

Over the weekend I finally painted the front of my garage. It’s still a piece of junk, but at least it matches the house (from the street).
