Someday I’d like know why the blossoms of the bleeding heart evolved to that shape. These are from the perennial beds in front of my house.

Flight of the robin

At a local park today, there were quite a few robins hunting for worms in the grass. I spent about 15 minutes trying to get close, and capture a photo at the moment they flew away. Though a bit out of focus, this was the best shot I got.

When I see irises close up, sometimes they look as if they’re laughing hysterically with their tongues hanging out. Maybe this one’s just happy spring came early this year?

Snowdrops

Two weeks ago, a snow storm brought five inches of snow to Madison.
