Allegra “Lee” Bloy 1929-2008
Saturday, March 22nd, 2008You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her, or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she’s gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what she’d want:
Smile, open your eyes, love and live on.

Sunday, February 3rd, 2008For a while now, I’ve been looking for a decent method to display larger photos on this site (some pictures look so much better at larger sizes). I finally settled on Highslide JS, a very nice javascript thumbnail viewer. Just click on the photograph to zoom out to a larger version. It also lets you drag the larger image around, and open up multiple images at once. Pretty slick, huh?

Saturday, January 12th, 2008We got a bit of snow last night. It was absolutely beautiful the way it coated all the trees.
