Creek-side campsite

Last week I was camping at one of my favorite sites in Wisconsin’s Northern Highland State Forest, right along the edge of Plum Creek.

I love the constant sound of water flowing there, it’s so soothing hearing that as you’re drifting off to sleep. Here’s a short video I took with my smartphone.

From this view, the campsite is in the shadows of the trees (middle left) just as the creek bends to the right. What a nice spot.

    Great camp site. I like the sound video with the rushing water. So glad you had good weather and not this hot stuff we are currently having. Thanks for sharing photos.
