Last week I was camping at one of my favorite sites in Wisconsin’s Northern Highland State Forest, right along the edge of Plum Creek.
When I took the above picture, I was standing on the other side of my tent below.
I love the constant sound of water flowing there, it’s so soothing hearing that as you’re drifting off to sleep. Here’s a short video I took with my smartphone.
From this view, the campsite is in the shadows of the trees (middle left) just as the creek bends to the right. What a nice spot.
