Another sunset from Tenney Park in Madison.
Crepuscular rays in the sky over Madison.
Mother Nature provided a bit of a light show over Madison yesterday evening.
After supper tonight I biked over to Tenney Park (along Lake Mendota), and was rewarded with this sunset.
I had every intention to go on a hike or bike ride today. Instead, on the nicest day we’ve had in a long time, I spent most of the afternoon doing yardwork. [insert eye-roll here] So after supper I talked myself into going on a sunset walk. Not a bad day after all.
Sunrises and sunsets get all the glory, but the sky can also be quite beautiful mid-day. I caught these lovely cirrus clouds while walking the neighborhood the other day.
