Did you catch the moon last night? It was absolutely stunning. The full moon in August is called the Sturgeon Moon.

A perfect summer day
I took advantage of yesterday’s perfect summer weather to go on a long bike ride through the city. If only we could store beautiful days like that and bring them out when needed. How good would it be to experience a perfect summer day deep in the middle of winter? At least we’ll still have our memories to ponder, and photos to gaze at.

Amazed by the Black Lagoon
I took a camping vacation last week in Northern Wisconsin, where I had to visit my favorite spot in the whole state: The Black Lagoon on the Star Lake Nature Trail.. I must have hiked that trail and visited that spot at least a couple dozen times, but every time I see it, I am just as amazed as I was the first.
