Back in the land of pines and lakes

July 31, 2022Camping, Hiking, Lakes, Landscape, TreesJonathan

Tall skinny pine trees grow from a bog at the edge of a lake, below a partly cloudy sky.

I spent last week on a camping vacation in northern Wisconsin. Wish I could’ve brought some of the fresh, pine scented air back home with me.

Lagoon surrounded by pine trees and foliage. Clouds and blue sky are reflected in the lagoon's surface.

These are scenes from two excellent hiking trails. The first and last photos are from the Fallison Lake Trail. The middle photo is The Black Lagoon on the Star Lake Nature Trail.

A small peninsula filled with large pine trees along the edge of a lake.
