Migrating loon
Spotted a common loon the other day (Lake Monona is a migration rest stop for them). First time capturing one of those wearing their winter coat! Their plumage is more drab grey/brown this time of year for better camouflage along the coast and waters of the south.

A 67 degree temperature a half an hour before sun down sent me out on my bicycle yesterday. Probably my last sunset ride before my bike goes into hibernation for the year. What a beautiful evening.
