Another unique sunset

Purple and blue clouds above an orange colored band of sky. The downtown Madison skyline can be seen from across a lake.

Much like snowflakes, it seems that no two sunsets are ever alike. I felt fortunate to witness this unique one last night. After a completely cloudy day, the clouds started to clear as the sun went down in Madison.

A tree in silhouette in front of a sky with purple and blue clouds, with a streak of orange. In the distance, on the opposite side of the lake is the downtown Madison skyline.

  1. You’re right – no two sunsets are alike. Have never seen one that has this strong orange color reflected every so gently in the clouds above. Good Photo. How about a collection of sunsets put side by side in a booklet to see their difference?

  2. Hmmm… a booklet of sunsets? That could be cool, I do have a LOT of sunset photos. Maybe a calendar of sunsets? I’ve thought about making a calendar before.

Thanks as always for the comment! Much appreciated.
