Is it really spring?

A purple crocus blossom in the middle grass just starting to grow. A brown, dried leaf lies on the ground next to it.

The crocuses that pop-up in the spring are so tiny and delicate. It’s almost as if spring is tentatively peeking its head above ground and saying “Is it safe? Is winter finally gone?”

I also saw a few small pollinators visiting these tiny blossoms.
