Views along the shore

A woman sits on a bench as she looks over a bay and bluff on the opposite shore. Past the bluff, a town along the shore can be seen in the distance.

I spent some time camping in Peninsula State Park this past week. There are wonderful views of the Lake Michigan shorelines and islands there.

An island (shaped like a horseshoe) in a lake under mostly blue skies. Some pine tree foliage is in the foreground.

This is Horseshoe Island.

The shore of a bay lined with trees in the golden, late-evening sunshine. The moon is in the blue sky above the shore.

Above, an almost full moon was rises over Nicolet Bay. Below is Adventure Island.

A close view of the lakeshore. Pine trees line the shore from the foreground on the right to the background on the left. A few geese are swimming in the water along the shore.
