When I was camping in northern Wisconsin last month, I took a day trip to Copper Falls State Park.

The park is home to several waterfalls. Above is Brownstone Falls, and below the park’s namesake, Copper Falls.

The Bad River (which flows through the park) has cut some large, scenic gorges through the land’s red granite over the years. See the people in the lower right corner below for scale.
