Mallard ducks (which are very common in Wisconsin) are not as fearful of humans as other wildlife can be.
Being fairly tame, they don’t seem to mind posing for some closeups.
Some are so unconcerned with the presence of people, they’ll even put themselves in a venerable position, just to find tasty things to eat.
Great photos of the ducks. Nice to get the close ups like you did. I especially liked the one diving in the water showing only half of itself. Neat!
