I just returned from a vacation at my favorite place for camping, the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. In addition to doing a lot of biking and hiking, I was treated to unique sunsets on five nights of my stay on Trout Lake. Here are the best photos from each of those sunsets.
Early Wednesday evening, it looked like I’d be in store for another nice sunset. Instead, right before the sun went down, some ominous-looking clouds blew in.
Sure enough, about a hour and a half later, a mild thunderstorm moved over the campground.

Just saw your sunsets. Though a sunset, it was the first web site I looked at this morning – great beginning to my day.
My favorite was the first one you posted – but all evoke a “wow” response.
