I came across a large patch of bloodroot the other day, doing their part to celebrate spring.

When I was at the Arboretum a few days ago, most of the magnolia buds weren’t open yet, but a few were showing off their full flowers.

It sure is refreshing seeing some green out there, even if you have to look close to find it.

I think the tiny, first blossoms of spring (like these dwarf irises) are my favorite ones to see this time of year.
