Northern wildflowers

A few wildflowers I came across while I was in northern Wisconsin.

I almost didn’t notice this tiny little guy, when I was admiring some coneflowers.

Blue scilla (a.k.a. squill) and crab apple blossoms.

We’re hitting peak flower season in Madison.

When the buds of magnolia blossoms start to emerge, they can be almost as beautiful as the flowers themselves.

Despite the snow we had earlier this week, spring is happening!
