I spent this past week in Door County. I really enjoyed hiking along the beach at Whitefish Dunes State Park.

Yesterday’s cold and windy weather created a wonderful sunset scene along Lake Mendota.

Ice jutting up from Lake Monona lit by a setting sun.

The newly formed ice on Lake Wingra is smooth as glass. Perfect conditions for this ice boater.

I caught this scene in Vilas Park. Proof that the sun actually did shine for a few brief moments today.
