I spent this past week in Door County. I really enjoyed hiking along the beach at Whitefish Dunes State Park.

How about that? The past few days have actually felt like winter. Now we just need a few more inches of the white stuff for good snow shoeing.

I caught this scene in Vilas Park. Proof that the sun actually did shine for a few brief moments today.

Madison got the first measurable snow of the season last night (about 5 inches in my neighborhood). Welcome to winter.

Autumn has definitely arrived in Madison.
