A 67 degree temperature a half an hour before sun down sent me out on my bicycle yesterday. Probably my last sunset ride before my bike goes into hibernation for the year. What a beautiful evening.

Summer’s twilight
Last of the summer shadows?
The local public schools started this week and the sun is setting earlier and earlier each day. I think I’m starting to mourn the end of summer.
On the bright side
With bitter cold temps in Madison lately, I’ve been savoring those few extra minutes of sunshine we’re getting (almost two more minutes each day now). Something positive to think about.
