While out on a late afternoon photo walk, I was struck by the quick changing cirrus clouds, moving to the song of strong winds high in the atmosphere. This sequence was taken within the span of just under a minute.

Pretty good sunset over Lake Monona this evening. Although, when the sun goes down at 4:27pm, it seems more appropriate to call it an afternoon sunset.

This was the best sunset I witnessed last week. Trout Lake near Boulder Junction. That sliver of light near the top is a crescent moon.
Saturday sunset
Saturday evening I celebrated the end of the heat wave by biking to Tenney Park and watching the sun go down. Ended up being a pretty good decision.
