Last week I went to Wisconsin’s Door County, where I camped at Peninsula State Park. The park’s bluffs offer spectacular views of Lake Michigan.

The Casket Arts Building
My sister Barbra’s studio is in the Casket Arts Building, a 120 year-old structure that once housed the Northwestern Casket Company.
I could have spent hours walking around the old building and taking photos,
Minnehaha Falls
When my father (Wilmer Bloy) and I were in Minneapolis last weekend, we went to Minnehaha Falls, which is in the city, along side the Mississippi River.
Inside Barbra’s studio
Last weekend, Dad and I drove to Minneapolis to see my sister, Barbra Bloy.
We wanted to visit while Art-a-Whirl (the largest open studio and gallery tour in the U.S.) was going on. It was great to see what that was about, and check out her studio.

While walking the neighborhood the other day, I came across this robin, perched regally on the top of the railroad crossing sign.
