Last night’s cabin fever induced dream had me bicycling out in the summer sun. With the dream and this week’s return of the polar vortex in mind, I thought I should post a couple of photos from a ride I took on the 400 State Trail last summer.
Oh to be out there now, pedaling with the warm summer sun on my back.
Sure, Lake Superior has its amazing ice caves, but here in Madison, we’ve got dirty icicles.
Today I was tempted by antiques at the MadCity Model Railroad Show.
Perhaps if I look at the snow abstractly, it’ll help me not feel so tired of it.
It’s a good thing I don’t put any stock into the groundhog’s ability to forecast the weather, or all the shadows I saw today would be very depressing.
