Finally got a chance to see the new Orpheum Theater sign (a replica of the original from the 1920’s) — it looks great! I need to stop by at night sometime when it’s lit up.

I wonder if I would appreciate the summer solstice as much, if I lived closer to the equator, and didn’t experience the long hours of darkness in the late fall autumn?
