Last weekend I went to the Capitol to check out this year’s Christmas tree. As I noticed all the other people there doing the same thing, I was reminded that government (along with the State’s tree) is here for the benefit of the people.

Sometimes I think our politicians could do a better job keeping that in mind as they govern. Perhaps they could use a visit from the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future?
