Late afternoon hike at Cherokee Marsh

The time of the year when I take photos of leaves that have dropped.

When the sun is shining on autumn leaves like this, I could look up at them for hours.

These black-eyed Susans are still clinging to early autumn. Though they do look weary from the colder temperatures. The end is nigh I’m afraid.

While hiking at Cherokee Marsh today, I came upon this deer with an eight-point set of antlers. Closest I’ve ever been to a buck like that.
