A little snow on the ground, and breakfast at Madison’s Jet Room restaurant has me dreaming of flying off to warm, exotic places.

The people’s tree
Last weekend I went to the Capitol to check out this year’s Christmas tree. As I noticed all the other people there doing the same thing, I was reminded that government (along with the State’s tree) is here for the benefit of the people.

My father (Wilmer Bloy) and I spent another Thanksgiving with my sister Barbra in Minneapolis. We gave thanks for family, both present and missing.
