Kite skier
Say what you will about Wisconsinites, but we do know how to have fun in the winter. I came across this person kite skiing, while I was out for a walk on the Lake Mendota ice.

Yesterday’s warm, sunny weather sent me on a hike through Governor Nelson State Park.
C&NW Lakefront Station in miniature
At the Mad City Model Railroad show last weekend, there was an N-scale layout that featured an excellent model of the Chicago & North Western Railway’s lakefront station in Milwaukee. It was created by modelers of Midwest Modutrak, and they deservedly won the award for best layout of the show.
