Wintering eagles

When the cold weather hits, it’s time to go bald eagle watching along the Wisconsin River. Since area lakes are frozen, the eagles congregate here for the winter, where they can catch fish.

I saw quite a few eagles there yesterday, including many juveniles who are well camouflaged. There’s one below with their back turned, in the lower left quadrant.
