The World of Dr. Evermor

Large sculpture made of scrap metal pieces. A tall tower with an egg shaped cage is in the center. Two other tall structures are next to the tower, surrounded by many other large and small pieces.

I’ve been meaning to visit Dr. Evermor’s Sculptpure Park for years. Finally did that last weekend. His work is so fascinating! I took a ton of photos. More to come…

Close up of a scrap metal sculpture that resembles a dog's face. Other pieces resembling animals are out of focus in the background.

I didn’t catch the names on all of the sculptures, but the ones I did find are as whimsically entertaining as the artwork. “Celestial Listening Ears” is below.

Sculpture of a large cone-shaped object, mounted over an antique metal chair. Two telescope-like objects point upward from the chair on a moveable mounting bracket.

A small dragonfly-like creature made of scrap metal pieces sitting on a rusty barrel.

The smaller pieces were just as fascinating as the larger ones.

A rusty tower made of a large metal dish, sphere, and a decorative cone shaped object. Leading from the tower are six 'legs' on wheels with a canon-like structure atop each one.

Above is “The Overlord Master Control Tower.”

A bird sculpture made of scrap metal. In the background are other bird like sculptures. A rusty french horn (part of another sculpture) is out of focus in the foreground.
