Wright Street Falls

A short, wide waterfall runs over rocky terrain. Pine trees and foliage are in the background under a blue sky.

There are a lot waterfalls near Marquette, Michigan (where I stayed when I was in the U.P.). Most are kind of off the beaten path, and require a bit of effort to find.

White angle view of a short waterfall. Rocky terrain is in the foreground. A structure with large supports holding up a tube that runs along the top is in the background, along with some pine trees.

The structure in the photo above is an aqueduct that leads from the Forestville Dam, a short ways up the Dead River.
