The purple and white dame’s rocket blossoms sure are beautiful against the greens on the side of the bike trail. Sadly though, dame’s rocket is an invasive species in Wisconsin.

I saw some crocus blossoms for the first time this year! Another early sign of spring I’m grateful for.

I’m feeling grateful for signs of spring, like snowdrops sprouting out of ground that still has patches of snow.

This year was the first time I noticed how coneflowers look in late autumn. Almost as if they’ve lost their skin and a skeleton is all that remains.
