Today’s springtime flower shots.

Today I learned that daffodils come in many different varieties. My favorites were these with the orange cups. Seen at Olbrich Botanical Gardens.

I went to Olbrich Botanical Gardens today looking for a little beauty, and found the magnolia trees blooming.

I saw some crocus blossoms for the first time this year! Another early sign of spring I’m grateful for.

I’m feeling grateful for signs of spring, like snowdrops sprouting out of ground that still has patches of snow.

This year was the first time I noticed how coneflowers look in late autumn. Almost as if they’ve lost their skin and a skeleton is all that remains.

Probably my last butterfly sighting of the season — they won’t be around much longer.
