Wild geraniums
Fringed tulips
I came across these interesting beauties on a neighborhood walk. I had never seen tulips with frayed edges on the petals before. They’re officially called fringed tulips.

Spring has not been canceled
A pandemic can stop a lot of things, but not Spring. Saw these snow drops while out on a walk yesterday.
“Painted” lily
I thought the colors and patterns of this blackberry lily (also known as a leopard lily) looked like they were painted on.
Flower spider
I was taking a photo of this brilliantly colored zinnia Mexican sunflower when I noticed a tiny spider sitting on the edge of the stamen.

I went to Olbrich Botanical Gardens today to see what’s blooming. I found black eyed susans, bee balm, and cone flowers.
