Tenney Park sunsets
There’s no better way to end a summer day than with a bike ride over to Tenney Park to watch the sun go down. I always enjoy being out on my bicycle, but it’s extra special when the the sky over Lake Mendota decides to reward me with a nice light show.

A long bike ride yesterday gave me some much needed outdoor time. I’ve learned over the years that if I don’t spend enough time outside, I can start to feel out of sorts. Some people ground themselves by meditating. Being out in nature, like biking the Lower Yahara River Trail, helps me accomplish that.
