Magical winter morning
Last night, Madison got the prettiest snowfall of the season.
After I drove to work, I took a walk behind the college, along the Edgewood Park and Pleasure Drive.
Like ducks to (cold) water
It seems the phrase “like a duck to water” is appropriate during the bitter cold too.
Just as long as they can still find some open water.
Dock drifts
At last, winter has asserted itself in Madison.
Thursday’s storm created some nice snow drifts along the dock at Tenney Park. They looked like crashing waves to me, frozen in time.

The wind from last night’s blizzard made some great patterns in the snow.
They looked like sand dunes.
