While I was in Washington DC for the Computers in Libraries conference, I took a couple vacation days to see some of the sights.
Unfortunately, the cherry blossoms peaked about a week before I was there.
No, I did not shout any disparaging remarks while holding my camera through the fence surrounding the White House, but I thought about it.

I enjoyed your pictures very much as always. I liked the flowers framing the lower edge of some. The view through the gazebo was outstanding. In spite of a rainy week you took some GREAT photos. The views from the ends of the elipse(?) were lovely too. We saw the FDR memorial in the evening when we couldn’t take pictures but have a book as I remember.
