There’s been a great horned owl’s nest with an owlet in a nearby park, in a pretty visible spot. I’ve visited a few times so far, and these are the best shots I’ve taken.

Loons on Monona Bay
It was a perfect day to hang out with the common loons — my favorite bird. Feel so grateful that they stop by Madison on their way north. Pity I didn’t hear any loon calls.
