On Friday night I saw the band Wilco perform at The Sylvee here in Madison. Wilco is one of my favorite bands, this was the eighth show of theirs I’ve been to. Every concert I’ve seen them perform has ALWAYS been fantastic, and Friday night was no exception.

Memories of a lost tree
Back in June, a severe storm knocked down many trees in Madison. Watching the sun go down In Tenney Park the other night, I was reminded that I still miss a casualty of that storm — the tree that arched over the water in this very spot, which made for some nice photo opportunities.
