Northern lights through the camera
This week southern Wisconsin was treated to two nights of aurora borealis. I missed Monday night’s show, so I was determined to get out there last night during the predicted solar storm.

Hiking along the east bluff trail at Devil’s Lake State Park yesterday, I saw the developing color from up high and in the middle of the forest. A beautiful place to spend an afternoon on such a beautiful day.

I’ve been fortunate to see some great concerts this summer. Last night I caught the dual headlining show featuring The National and The War On Drugs, which was held at Breese Stevens Field. I’ve been very fond of these two groups for quite a while now, and seeing them both live for the first time did not disappoint.
