This is not the kind of evening commute I expect in southern Wisconsin on April 18.

Today I noticed the bleeding heart plant in front of my house has emerged and is about 8 inches tall. I noticed this WHILE I WAS SHOVELING SNOW.

Ah, spring in Wisconsin.

I caught these mallard ducks practicing their synchronized swimming routine.

On a cold and dreary spring day, I went out looking for some color. I did find some… indoors (in the conservatory at Olbrich Botanical Gardens).
