Earlier this week I was in Minneapolis for a library conference, and I also had a chance to visit with my sister, Barbra Bloy, who gave me a tour of her latest studio space.

Inside Barbra’s studio
Last weekend, Dad and I drove to Minneapolis to see my sister, Barbra Bloy.
We wanted to visit while Art-a-Whirl (the largest open studio and gallery tour in the U.S.) was going on. It was great to see what that was about, and check out her studio.
Dreamcatcher
When I walked into my bedroom this late this afternoon, I was struck by the shadows created by the window blinds and the dreamcatcher hanging over my bed.
Dreamkeepers
A beautiful day yesterday took me out to ride on Madison’s Capital City Bike Trail. Along the trail, on Patterson Street, is a three-story-tall sculpture by Doctor Evermor called “Dreamkeepers.”
A rainy Sunday at the Cathedral
Dad came with me on my trip (he wanted to spend some time at the National Cathedral and the National Archives). It was good having a traveling companion along.
