While I was camping last week, I took a day trip across the Mississippi River to Great River Bluffs State Park in Minnesota.
The above view of Queen’s Buff is your reward after about a mile hike through the woods. My jaw just dropped as I emerged from the forest and saw the spectacular scene.
Looking away from the river (below), the rolling hills made for some beautiful scenery as well.

When you go camping you seem to find beautiful views wherever
you are. Another place we’ve driven past but never stopped to climb and explore. I don’t think I could do that anymore…..so it is great to see such beautiful pictures of what’s out there. Great photography as always.
