“Sunburst” blossoms

When I was in northwest Wisconsin last month, I stayed at the Androy Hotel in downtown Superior.

This beautiful birchbark canoe was made by artist Gene Delcourt and students at MG21 Liberal Arts Charter School. Seen on display at the Harry Whitehorse International Wood Sculpture Festival.
