I’ve noticed the sun setting along the railroad tracks at the corner of Fair Oaks and Thurber avenues before, and wished I had my camera. It happened to be in the car when I drove by today.

When I was driving to Minneapolis a couple of weeks ago, I stopped at the rest area along I-94 near Black River Falls, to stretch my legs a bit and check out the trail there that leads to a scenic overlook.
Recall rally
This week, my beloved Wisconsin began the process of collecting signatures to recall Governor Walker. A recall rally was held at the Capitol today and I couldn’t pass up the chance to go.

While I was at Picnic Point last weekend, I came across a section of woods that was completely yellow.

I went hiking along Picnic Point this afternoon.
The foliage there seemed to be at peak autumn color.
