A couple more from Governor’s Island. Yes, that’s ice, completely covering the bay on the north side of the “island.”

Ice along the shore

Late yesterday afternoon at Governor’s Island. I didn’t stay too long, that cold wind off the lake was brutal! Winter has arrived.

As I watched the sun going down along Lake Monona yesterday, the wind and cold temperature were telling me that winter is knocking on the door.

Ever present over downtown Madison.

I intended to shoot the sunset this evening, but the cloud deck moving in had other plans. The moon in the east was a pretty good consolation prize.
